Honorary membership has been granted only four times in the history of the Association, to: His Excellency Prof. Mansour bin Turki Al-Turki (former President of King Saud University and Deputy Minister of Finance), Sheikh Saleh Kamel (a well-known businessman), His Excellency Prof. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Munif (first Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Economic Association for two consecutive terms, former Secretary of the Supreme Economic Council and former member of the Shura Council), and Prof. Noura bint Abdulrahman Al-Yousef (former Chair of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Economic Association for two consecutive terms).
