About the Association
The Saudi Economic Association was established within the Department of Economics at King Saud University and has gained significant importance among scientific associations due to its vital role in organizing seminars and conferences, publishing scientific research, and providing economic consultations. In addition, it plays an educational role for its members by keeping them updated on developments in its field through collaboration with government entities and research centers. The association aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific output and ideas in the economic field among individuals, organizations, and relevant institutions. It organizes forums where specialists from various entities meet and occasionally conducts courses, lectures, and various cultural and awareness activities.

Objectives
- To ensure that the association's activities align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
- To develop economic thought, work on its advancement, and establish a reference for local economic thinking that is open to the world.
- To enhance the scientific and professional performance of the association’s members and promote scientific communication among them.
- To provide specialized scientific advice in the economic field to relevant entities in both the public and private sectors.
